Our client had recently tried to obtain planning approval to demolish this detached dwelling and rebuild a larger, more energy efficient dwelling, unfortunately with certain planning policies to adhere too, too many hurdles to jump and the presence of Crested Newts (protected species) within the boundary of the site, the planning application was refused.
We were appointed to bring the dwelling into this current century by extending to create a open plan dining/kitchen, ground floor wc, make better use of the internal space (small rooms), not to mention the substantial repairs the dwelling required to make it habitable for our client to rent out. The dwelling was completely rendered giving it a whole new look.
We dealt with the tender process and appointed a contractor to carry out the works, all of which was carried out on time and to a very high standard. Our client was impressed and very happy with the work from start to finish.
