Our client wanted more space within their home but did not want to move or lose any garden space.
So we took a European approach and added an additional storey to the house. The shape of the existing bungalow lent itself to having it’s roof extended and by using a dormer window on the front elevation we were able to minimize the visual impact from the road, which allowed us to achieve planning permission.
The client was very happy with the outcome gaining all the space he wanted and retaining his garden space with a seamless vertical extension. Contract value circa £75k.
